Synopsis:
The Basic Life Support Instructor's Kit Includes a copy of the BLS participant's manual, the BLS Instructor's Manual for Instructor- Led Training and the BLS Instructor's Manual for Blended Learning. Revised in 2019, the American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) program includes all foundational concepts covered in the American Red Cross Basic Life Support course. Emergency care components covered for adult, child and infant patients include recognition and care for patients experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction and opoid overdose. The Basic Life Support program materials are consistent with the most current science and treatment recommendations from: (ILCOR) 2015-2018 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care Science with Treatment Recommendations, The 2015-2018 American Heart Association Guidelines Update for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care, and the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council reviews, statements and advisories.
