This new series comprises five practical texts to address the Intercollegiate MRCS Examination. It covers a wide range of subjects, including basic sciences, basic surgical skills, patient assessment and management, and the basic content of all ten surgical subspecialties. The editorial team includes senior trainees with recent exposure to the examination as well as experienced surgical and medical editors. Volume I covers basic surgical sciences, including physiology, pathology, microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology, with each chapter written by a specialist contributor.
